T-Mobile donates “T-Mobile Bags” filled with school supplies!

 

SUFFOLK, VA. – Our Suffolk Club had a blast hosting T-Mobile Day where kids enjoyed good food, music, games, and won prizes. The local famous "Izzy the DJ" performed on the 1's and 2's playing the best music to go with the delicious snow cones served from Pelican Snowball. Finally, T-Mobile ended the day handing out bags filled with school supplies for each kid to take home. The Suffolk News Harold covered the event and you can find the article here! Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeast Virginia (BGCSEVA) was founded in 1919 by the Norfolk Rotary Club. Back then, we were known as Boys Club of Norfolk. Today, we have 9 Clubs in 7 cities. Because of our geographic reach, we are now Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeast Virginia; and serve children ages 6-18.

Our mission is “to enable all young people, especially those who need us the most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens.”

Our 3 priority outcomes for our members are:

Achieve Academic Success, Display Good Character & Citizenship and Maintain Healthy Lifestyles.
