Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeast Virginia Hosts Inaugural Fore the Future Golf Classic

Virginia Beach, VA – November 22, 2024 – The Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeast Virginia is proud to announce the resounding success of its first-ever “Fore the Future Golf Classic.” In a morning filled with fun, friendly competition, and meaningful impact, this nontraditional golf event took place on Friday, November 22, 2024, at Topgolf Virginia Beach.

This exciting new tournament wasn’t just about swinging clubs but about swinging open doors to greater futures for local Club members of Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeast Virginia. Participants enjoyed an exciting competition between local companies vying for prizes and bragging rights while enjoying a delicious brunch spread prepared by Topgolf. We are happy to host such a memorable networking opportunity while supporting the Club’s great cause and mission.

The event marks the beginning of a new tradition designed to raise vital funds for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeast Virginia while building community connections and support for our local youth.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeast Virginia (BGCSEVA) was founded in 1919 by the Norfolk Rotary Club. Back then, we were known as Boys Club of Norfolk. Today, we have 9 Clubs in 7 cities. Because of our geographic reach, we are now Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeast Virginia; and serve children ages 6-18.

Our mission is “to enable all young people, especially those who need us the most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens.”
