The Campaign to Great Futures:
A $7 Million Investment in Our Youth
Every day across Hampton Roads, young people walk through the doors of Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeast Virginia (BGCSEVA) and find more than a place to go. They find people who believe in them, opportunities that challenge them, and a community that helps them dream bigger.
Now, we’re launching the most ambitious campaign in our history, the Campaign to Great Futures, to make sure every child and teen who needs us has the chance to thrive. Together, we will build a new Teen Center in Chesapeake, revitalize our Virginia Beach and Portsmouth Clubs, and expand access with a dedicated fleet of Club vehicles connecting youth to opportunity.
Beyond new spaces, this campaign fuels the heart of our mission: transformative programs that meet the moment for today’s youth. From trauma-informed practices that nurture healing and resilience to innovative teen programming and workforce development initiatives that prepare the next generation for success, we are expanding our reach and deepening our impact across Southeast Virginia.
This is more than bricks and mortar. It’s about building confidence, character, and hope. It’s about investing in young people who will shape our community’s future.

Building Great Futures Through Four Pillars of Impact
A new Teen Center. Stronger facilities. Greater access. Deeper impact.
Chesapeake Teen Center
A new Club in Chesapeake will allow teens to continue their Club Experience after school and during the summer when schools are out and youth need us the most.
Capital Enhancements
To remain first-rate facilities and best serve our youth, our Club buildings in Virginia Beach and Portsmouth need upgrades and maintenance.
Transportation
Securing our own fleet of vehicles will improve Club access across our region and enrich Club members’ lives through educational field trips and other opportunities.
Program Initiatives
The needs of teenagers have never been greater. BGCSEVA will meet the moment with trauma-informed youth development training and programs across all our Clubs.
